India’s Virender Sehwag scored 201 runs vs the West Indies a short while ago and broke the one day international world record held by Sachin Tendulkar.
Sehwag scored the 201 off just 140 balls as India scored runs at will against the west Indians in the 4th one day match of the ongoing series.
UPDATE: Sehwag was eventually out for 219 runs.
Playing his 240th one-day international, the 33-year-old right-handed batsman overtook compatriot Sachin Tendulkar, a player he was often compared to early in his career.
