Anna Hazare Was Insulted Badly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The most talked about hero of the nation the past few days is not the Shahrukhs or Sachins. It is a mere 72 year old man who is known as a social activist.
Sporting a Gandhi cap and regular Khadi dress, he mobilized the entire nation and to an extent, made the Indian government nod to his demands. Yes, he is Anna Hazare and while all this looks hunky dory with a ray of revolution in a nation filled with worst corruption and even worse politicians, here is an irony that stares right at the face of truth.
It is the pledge of support offered by the so-called role models of society – Ramoji Rao, Gali Janardhan Reddy, Y S Jagan, Chandrababu Naidu and Lalith Modi. A little insight into each one’s profile will reveal the scams and unethical practices they have been involved over the years. Today, they are standing and expressing their support which is ridiculous. The World Cup happened, many Indians waved the flags, shared happiness so there ends the matter. But politics and changing the system, that’s an entirely different ball game.

Former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs may soon be headed to Facebook as a senior communications official for the social network giant, reports The New York Times‘ Dealbook blog. The rumored high-profile hiring comes via “people briefed on the negotiations,” and has been confirmed by neither Facebook nor Gibbs.
The alleged conversations between Gibbs’ camp and Facebook come prior to a public offering by Facebook that is said to be planned for 2012. Gibbs, who served under President Obama for two years before resigning in February, may opt to wait to jump into the private sector, and instead help build up Obama’s re-election campaign, sources say.

India: PM caught in WikiLeaks uproar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEW DELHI - Fresh revelations of WikiLeaks' expose on US Embassy's leaked India cables indicating that the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh was "isolated" within his own government over his "great belief" in pursuing talks with Pakistan, or that there was an "undeniable" pro-US tilt in the Union Cabinet's January 2006 reshuffle today generated political heat within and outside Parliament, with Opposition parties, including the Left and the BJP, demanding the government's explanation.
There was uproar in the Rajya Sabha as the Left MPs, supported by the BJP members, demanded that the government clarify its position on disclosures of cables of US Embassy in India to Washington, exposed, as part of its global expose, by the international whistleblower website, the Julian Assange-headed WikiLeaks.
Raising the matter this morning, the CPI-M member, Mr P Rajeeve, referred to media reports on WikiLeaks expose in which the then US Ambassador to India, Mr David Mulford, had described the January 2006 Cabinet reshuffle as having "undeniable pro-American tilt", especially highlighting the replacement of the petroleum and natural gas minister Mr Mani Shankar Aiyar, seen by the US as "contentious and outspoken Iran (Iran-Pakistan-India) pipeline advocate," by "pro-US" Mr Murli Deora.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should immediately resign

Manmohan_Singh.JPGToday 3 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members publicly displayed 1 crore rupees in Parliament. They said this money was allegedly offered to them to vote in favour of the confidence motion. This is indeed a black day for IndianParliament and democracy. Ashok Agral, who is a BJP MP from Morena, claimed that it was advance payment by Samajwadi Party’s Amar Singh for abstaining from voting in confidence motion by UPA government. He was supported by two other BJP MPs. What I think in this scenario that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should immediately resign on moral grounds or President Mrs Patil should dissolve the current Indian government as it is a big setback for Indian democracy.

Hyderabad: The Telangana issue is once again raising the political temperature in Andhra Pradesh. The state Assembly on Thursday witnessed uproarious scenes over the issue with Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLAs disrupting Governor ESL Narasimhan's speech in the Assembly.
The MLAs also shouted slogans against the Governor. The TRS had alleged on Wednesday that Narasimhan was against the creation of a separate Telangana state.
Some TRS MLAs also manhandled Lok Satta party President Jayaprakash Narayan and Congress MLC Paladugu Venkata Rao inside the premises of the Assembly. Narayan was addressing the media when TRS MLAs KT Rama Rao (TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao's son), D Vinay Bhaskar and Aravinda Reddy pulled him aside and slapped him.

Hyderabad:
Jagan Mohan Reddy, Congress MP and son of former Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Rajashekhar Reddy, on Monday resigned as party MP. Jagan's mother Vijayalakshmi has also resigned from Andhra Pradesh Assembly.
He is likely to soon announce the launch of his new party - Youth Sramik Ryot (YSR) Congress - in Kadapa, his Lok Sabha constituency, sources close to him said.
