Hopefully a new edition in Samsung’s future Galaxy lineup, the Samsung Galaxy Continuum’s new images have hit the web this morning. It is the same phone we saw previously, which is said to have two screens, but it’s not a flip form factor device; instead it will be a side device. Earlier it was spotted on Verizon’s Smartphone and tablet list, which are going to be made available in coming months. Its keys feature include: two displays, both will be Super AMOLED, one will be the usual that every device has and the second one will be much thicker and will be used as a touch-panel. The thicker one will be automatically activated when you’ll pick up the phone due to built-in grip sensor.
For battery performance, Galaxy Continuum automatically turns off other screen when you pick up this device. Other specs of this device: Android 2.2 with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, 1GHz Hummingbird processor same as all the Galaxy devices and 336MB of RAM.
The price is still unknown at the moment but from the Verizon’s leak we know that this device is set for the end of this month. For now we have its some high quality images to keep us entertained, so stay tuned and we’ll get back to you with some more information as it comes up.
