Android Honeycomb Is Coming, Already In Use!!!!!!!!!!!!

So yesterday, Google officially announced Android 3.0, known as Honeycomb (Google tends to name their Android builds after sweet, delicious desserts).  Aimed directly at combating the Apple iPad head-on, more and more Honeycomb-powered tablets are being leaked or revealed.

Well, we’ve seen two already in-use come through the Chitika network – those are the Motorola Xoom and the LG G-Slate, which announces itself as the LG-v909.  Both have been officially announced, and since they’re already at least in use for testing, appear to be fairly close to release.

We’re looking forward to seeing how this new generation of Android tablet compares with the iPad.  Keep up with Chitika Insights and we’ll let you know everything a publisher needs to know, when the data becomes available: traffic share, ad click rate, favorite site types, etc.
