Nike+ SportWatch GPS first look!!!!!!!!!!

Nike's new GPS watch just arrived in our offices so we thought we'd provide a quick peek. As we mentioned in January, Nike partnered with the car navigation company Tom Tom to develop this $200 watch. It tracks speed and distance via GPS or through a wireless connection to the shoe pod.

In size, the SportWatch compares well to the Garmin Forerunner 210 and 110. The SportWatch's huge display gives it a bit of an edge over the Garmin watches, however, when it comes to readability on the run.
The SportWatch uses three buttons and a tap screen for navigation. Tapping the screen with your fingers marks a lap split or turns on the backlight, depending on which mode you’re in.
We've just begun putting the Nike+ SportWatch GPS through its paces. Look for a full review in a couple of weeks. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments below and I'll do my best to reply with timely answers.

Runner's World Senior Editor Sean Downey is a 3:38 marathoner and triathlete. He’s tested just about everything made for runners and plenty of stuff that wasn’t.
