A NEW OS BY GOOGLE- MOTOROLA || GOOGLE - MOTOROLA OS FULL DETAILS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

phone-os-concept
Where will Android refugees like Samsung, HTC and LG settle in the wake of Google’s Motorola buy? A new Mystery OS that hasn’t yet revealed itself.
This week I’m at a convention of analysts from the major firms who cover mobile devices. Most of the major names are here and, as you might imagine, much of the discussion is on the acquisition of Motorola Mobile by Google. While I don’t want to imply that all of us are in agreement — we seldom are — a theme has emerged in terms of consensus Android as an open OS is pretty much done. Google is now on the path to becoming much like Apple, with Android as an integrated solution. This could actually improve the quality of future Android phones, but it is also creating a substantial demand for something to take its place.

New Intel Atom processor review !!!!!!!!!!

Ever notice that the chips driving tablets are made by the likes of Apple, Samsung, Nvidia, and Qualcomm? Intel wants to change that.
As tablets are moving into a central role in technology users’ everyday personal and professional lives, it’s no surprise that almost every technology company on the planet wants to have a strong presence in the tablet market. However, chipmaking giant Intel has largely been left out of the revolution: while its processors power the vast majority of notebook, netbook, desktop, and server systems on the market, tablets are dominated by ARM-based processors from the likes of Samsung, Qualcomm, Nvidia, and (of course) Apple. Intel is looking to change that, however, with its new Atom Z670 “Oak Trail” processors, which can power 1080p viedeo playback and offer longer life than previous Atom offerings—and Intel says it offers more operating system flexibility than anything else on the market.

“The new Intel Atom ‘Oak Trail’ platform, with ‘Cedar Trail’ to follow, are examples of our continued commitment to bring amazing personal and mobile experiences to netbook and tablet devices, delivering architectural enhancements for longer battery life and greater performance,” said Intel’s netbook and tablet VP and general manager Doug Davis, in a statement. “We are accelerating the Intel Atom product line to now move faster than Moore’s law, bringing new products to market on three process technologies in the next 3 years.”
Intel says the Atom Z670 can handle 1080p video output over HDMI, along with Adobe Flash so users can tap into rich online content and gaming, all without sacrificing battery life compared to earlier offerings. The Atom 670 features integrated graphics and a die size 60 percent smaller than its predecessors, reducing power and heat dissipation requirements. Intel also touts the processors as offering manufacturers more flexibility than any other tablet processor, with support for Android, MeeGo, and even Windows operating systems, and the systems sport an Enhanced Deep Sleep mode for improved power savings during inactivity.

have seen original quadro copters !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

robots_three_quadrocopters
Researchers in Switzerland have created flying robot quadrocopters capable of responding fast enough to juggle and bounce a ball back and forth with one another.
Here’s something you don’t see every day. Researchers in Switzerland have designed small, remote control “quadrocopters” capable of seeing and reacting fast enough to bounce a ball back and forth. Equipped with a tennis racket on top of them, the duo bounces the ball around a netted-off section of a Swiss building. Both units are controlled by humans, but could theoretically be programmed as well. Unfortunately, no program is fast enough to play pong in real life, yet.

Your next car will be made of pineapples and bananas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scientists have developed a new super-strong fiber from the stems and leaves of fruits like pineapples, bananas, and coconuts. The fiber is so strong, it may be integrated into automotive plastics in as little as two years.

Scientists have developed a new fiber from fruits like pineapples and bananas that is almost as strong as Kevlar, the fiber used in bulletproof vests. The new fruity “nono-cellulose” fiber is so strong that researchers plan to use it to reinforce plastics like those used to make automobiles. The new fibers will help bring in an era of plastics that are stronger, lighter, and more environmentally friendly than those in use today, reports PhysOrg. Unfortunately, however, your new car probably won’t taste of citrus.
“The properties of these plastics are incredible,” said Alcides Leão, leader of the study, “They are light, but very strong — 30 per cent lighter and 3-to-4 times stronger. We believe that a lot of car parts, including dashboards, bumpers, side panels, will be made of nano-sized fruit fibers in the future. For one thing, they will help reduce the weight of cars and that will improve fuel economy.”

Japanese scientists develop human-shaped phone that feels like real skin!!!!!!!!!!

There are no limits to the imagination of Japanese scientists. A group of researchers has created a portly mobile phone that is shaped like a naked genderless doll and feels like human skin.

Science is always marching forward, but does it need to carry a human-shaped phone in its pocket? Yesterday, Japanese researchers at Osaka University announced that they have created a human-shaped mobile phone with an outer coating that feels like skin, reports the AFP. The goal: to let you “feel closer” to those you’re talking to on the phone. We wonder, do Japanese men and women often touch faces as they talk to their friends?
“The mobile phone may feel like the person you are talking to,” said the Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International (ATR) in a press release. It also described the gadget as a “revolutionary telecom medium.”
The current prototype is a bit bigger than a human hand. Shaped like a unisex doll, it has a speaker in its head and a blue/red LED light embedded in its chest, which notifies users when the phone is in use or in standby. Future iterations of the device will have image and voice recognition, so you’re phone will know what you look and sound like. Scientists hope to have a human-phone on the market within the next five years.

‘Artificial leaf’ mimics photosynthesis, could power an entire house!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scientists in Massachusetts have developed a working "artificial leaf" that uses solar energy to split water into hydrogen and oxygen, producing power.
The Holy Grail of science is to create something that may actually solve a major problem in the world and improve life for millions. Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology think they have done exactly that. Led by Daniel Nocera, they have created an “artificial leaf,” or a new technology that uses solar cells to split water into hydrogen and oxygen, creating energy in the process.
“The artificial leaf shows particular promise as an inexpensive source of electricity for homes of the poor in developing countries,” said Nocera. “Our goal is to make each home its own power station. One can envision villages in India and Africa not long from now purchasing an affordable basic power system based on this technology.”
