Hackers broke into the website of theCongress party Friday - on a day Congress workers organised functions to celebrate the birthday of party president Sonia Gandhi, but it was restored soon, party sources said.
"One of our three websites was hacked by miscreants, but our technical people restored it soon," a party leader told IANS on a condition of anonymity.
The hackers had defaced the profile page of Gandhi with a pornographic message, the sources added.
