Have you ever wanted to search for a contact or an application without going back to the home screen? Now you can do that, because Google has updated its gesture search app and you simply have to write on your mobile touch screen and Gesture Search will find it for you.The new version of Gesture Search Android app 1.2 is now available in Android market, which includes a new motion gesture. The Gesture Search app for now only recognizes English alphabets and requires Android 1.6 or above operating systems. You can download the app from here.
What is new motion gesture?
When you double flip or flip your phone away and then back, it will automatically start the gesture search no matter where you are. Double flip or flipping eliminates the need to activate Search app, you can also check it out in the video below. You can also turn the feature on or adjust its sensitivity in Settings. Google has also fixed some bugs and has enhanced the usability by adding accessibility support.
