BCS bowl games are great, aren't they? Love the system or hate it, we get so much to discuss and debate throughout the season -- and even more once the season is over and the bowl lineups are announced.

This year's championship matchup was announced Sunday -- LSU vs. Alabama -- but the argument continues to rage. No one disputes undefeated LSU's right to play for the BCS title. But one-loss Alabama barely edged one-loss Oklahoma State for the No. 2 spot in the rankings.

A Google AdMob study of tablet usage has found that playing games is more popular than any other activity.

A new survey by Google AdMob has found that tablet owners primarily use their touchscreen devices for playing games, the Guardian reports. Other popular uses include emailing, social networking and consuming media like videos, music and e-books.

Out of the 1,430 tablet owners interviewed, 84 percent used the device for playing games. “Searching for information” came in as the second most-popular activity at 78 percent, followed by emailing (74 percent), reading the news (61 percent) and using social networks (56 percent). Only 51 percent use their tablets for watching videos or reading music, the study found. And Reading e-books was only popular among 46 percent of those interviewed

IPL 2011 Schedule for upcoming Indian Premier League Season 4 has been announced by BCCI. The tournament will be played just after days of Cricket World Cup tournament finish. IPL T20 is one of the biggest event tournament of the sports world. It is played every year in the summer season of Indian Subcontinent. Review: 2K Czech makes tennis fun again with, Top Spin 4.

This review will be entirely pun free. You will not hear any jokes about how much I “love-love” the game, nor will you hear me discuss this game’s many “advantages”. Get it? Advantages, like the score after deuce? Anyway…

The thing is, there really isn’t any need to fall back on puns and cheap rhetoric. I may anyway, but there is no need to, because Top Spin 4 is a game that speaks for itself. It is a video game that will keeps fans of tennis happy for a long time, and may even have some crossover appeal–if it can convince players to try it, which will be difficult because it doesn’t offer much in way of features that will appeal to non-tennis aficionados, but the gameplay is worth a look for any fans of sports games.

But more than that, and where this game aces—sorry–this game bests its predecessor and other competitors is that it retains the intricate play controls that make mastering the game an achievement, but it also offers a style that is accessible to new players.

Top Spin 4 is a game that anyone could pick up and have fun with. There is even a party game mode for four players that will likely be played for the first time by fans that have never tried a tennis video game before, and yet they should enjoy it. And yet it will keep players coming back to attempt to master the system, which will not be easy. That variable level of difficulty, along with a ridiculously deep career mode make Top Spin 4 the best tennis game out right now, and a great overall sports game in its own right.

As a curtain raiser to the forthcoming T20 cricket tournament 'Celebrity Cricket League' (CCL) to be
held in June between 4 teams: Bollywood (Mumbai Heroes), Tollywood (Telugu Tigers), Kollywood (Tamil Superstars) and Sandalwood (Bangalore Stars), a friendly match is organised this Sunday (March 5) at Vizag, the Tollywood team's captain Victory Venkatesh said in his blog.
"I have played a lot of cricket in my school days in Don Bosco and in Loyola College in Chennai. I was an all-rounder and I have also been part of teams that have played friendlies with the likes of Sachin and Kumble in their younger days. Though I don't really get to practise now, I hope I and my team will put up a good performance," Venky further wrote.
