India Bills $50 Tablet as 'World's Cheapest Computer || Cheapest laptops and tablets in the world !!!!!!!!!!

Move over Kindle Fire—there's a much cheaper tablet in development. India's Education Ministry is set to produce a barebones, Internet-ready tablet device that it's calling the "world's cheapest computer," according to CNN.

The price? A mere $50.

That means you could purchase four of the unnamed (something's written on the bezel, but it's tough to see what it is) Indian tablets for the price of one of Amazon'snew 7-inch Kindle Fire devices, already considered by many to be a bargain at $199 in a market currently dominated by Apple's iPad 2, which starts at a whopping $499 for the entry-level model.

it’s no secret that mobile device maker HTC is getting into the Android tablet game, and as that day approaches the company is lining up retail partners to make sure its gizmos get into consumers hands. American electronics retailer Best Buy has just announced that it will be the exclusive retail launch partner for the Wi-Fi HTC Flyer Android tablet—although the company isn’t yet offering any pricing information, or saying anything more definite than “spring” for when the device may go on sale.

“Over the past few months we’ve seen several new tablets enter the market, and we’re especially excited to partner with HTC to bring the Wi-Fi version of the HTC Flyer to our customers as a national retail launch exclusive,” said Best buy Mobile head of merchandising Scott Anderson, in a statement. “We have worked hard to bring a large assortment of great tablets to Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores, and the HTC Flyer is a great example of that effort.”

MOTOROLA XOOM REVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's taken almost a year to get here. The first tablet to matter since the original iPad. The Xoom is the first real Android tablet, arriving ahead of the iPad 2 by a hair. Since it's living in the "year of iPad 2," as Apple put it, it seemed only fitting to wait to drop judgment until we'd seen everything the iPad 2 had to offer. Frankly, there's no way the Xoom could live up to everything it needs to be. It's not even done yet, really. It has problems. But it's still very good. It's the first non-iPad tablet worth buying. And it'll get better.

We often hear that cheap tablets keep coming from chinese manufacturers but the world’s cheapestTablet comes from India. Actually the India government are trying to develop a $10 laptop but their experiment result a 7 inch tablet which only priced Rs.1500 ($30). It is not like the expected price but this $30 tablet is worth and very useful. This India’s tablet runs Linux OS and sport 2GB of RAM, WiFi and USB port as well as a webcam.
