UPDATE-Rapper Heavy Ddied from a pulmonary embolism according to the Los Angeles Coroner’s office.
Heavy D, real name Dwight Arrington Myers, died on November 8th, 2011. The rapper had reportedly returned from a shopping trip and collapsed while walking up a flight of stairs to his home. Heavy D’s death was previously believed to have been caused by complications from Pneumonia after he fell ill from a trip to Cardiff, Wales to perform at the Micheal Jackson tribute concert and complained of a flu-like symptons. But Craig Harvey of Los Angeles County Coroner’s officer confirmed otherwise, via LA Times.

At the same time, he underwent a series of plastic surgeries, including several rhinoplasties — which whittled away his nose until, by the end, it barely existed — and the addition of a cleft in his chin. His lips grew noticeably thinner, and his brow and cheekbones also appeared to have been surgically altered.
