Angelina Jolie - Golden Globes 2011 Red Carpet with Brad Pitt!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are perfection on the red carpet at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 16) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 35-year-old actress is nominated for the award for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical for her work on The Tourist!

Angie is up against Annette Bening, Anne Hathaway, Julianne Moore, and Emma Stone.

FYI: Angie wore a gorgeous long sleeved emerald green gown encrusted with Swarovski crystals by Atelier Versace, Ferragamo shoes and a clutch, and Robert Procopjewels. Brad suited up in a Tom Ford tux and wore a David Yurman ring.

Iranian film "Nader And Simin" wins Golden Bear in Berlin

BERLIN, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- "Jodaeiye Nader az Simin" (Nader And Simin, A Separation) from Iran's Asghar Farhadi won the Golden Bear, the highest prize awarded for the best film at the 61st Berlin film festival on Saturday night. Ulrich Koehler of Germany won the Best Director Silver Bear for "Schlafkrankheit" (Sleeping Sickness).

"Nader And Simin", one of 16 competing for the Golden Bear, tells a drama about guilt and trust in an Iranian family with father, mother, child, Alzheimer's-stricken grandfather and a maid hired to take care of the old man.

"I just never thought of winning this prize, " said Farhadi in reaction to the award. The Iranian director won a best director prize for his film "About Elly" at the event two years ago.

The Social Network becomes winner of Golden Globe Awards

This year, at the Golden Globe Awards ceremony, “The Social Network” won the Best Picture award. The picture is inspired by one of the co-founders of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, who riles up everyone on campus with his new and invasive website. Apart from Best Picture Award, it took home three more trophies for Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Score.

The Social Network showed up great at the Box Office and got awesomely positive feedback from the critics. Winning The Golden Globe is something very important as the Award can be accurately reflected of what could come at the Oscars.

The movie was released by Sony Pictures, directed by David Fincher and scripted by Aaron Sorkin, this movie is expected to win the Academy Awards as well, the nominations of which announced on January 25. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
