REHMAN LOSES OSCAR!!!

‘Mozart of Madras’ AR Rahman failed to recreate his ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ Oscar magic this year, losing out in the Best Original Score and Best Song categories at the 83rd Academy Awards here on Monday.

The golden statuette for the Best Original Score went to composer duo Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross who won for their soundtrack in ‘The Social Network’.

Adding insult to injury, some British newspapers slammed the live performance of Rahman on Oscar stage quoting it lacks soul.
