Indian News Television Awards one of the prestigious awards in media side given by most popular media organisation. Clearly, the Indian TV news genre is amongst the most vibrant in the world, as it was a couple of years ago. At that time there was a crying need from reporters, editors, technician’s management of news channels to have the best in television be recognized. In stepped Indian Television Dot Com Pvt Ltd – the pioneer in TV awards such as The Indian Telly Awards – to institute the NT Awards in 2007. The initiative met with tremendous success as 550 entries poured in from various news channels. The NT Awards 2008 also did well with 700 entries and so did NT Awards last year with 800 entries.
