So far, film director Ramgopal Varma has been seen as a person who loves controversy, finds good to be boring and enjoys criticism on him. However, there is a fine line between criticism and sarcasm. This is something even the veteran Yandamuri was unable to differentiate and he is facing the music from Ramu.
Apparently, Yandamuri was sharing his thoughts with the TV9 channel on RGV’s book ‘Naa Ishtam’ and quoted a monkey joke which literally meant Ramu was the monkey and he was making a monkey out of the people with stuffless book called ‘naa ishtam’. This didn’t go well with the point blank movie maker.
Reacting to this in an interview with TV9, when the clipping of Yandamuri was shown and his reaction was asked. Ramu took off “I don’t know why but for few seconds he looked like a monkey to me.” Later on, Ramu gave his piece of mind to Yandamuri in his signature style asking him to mind his own business of writing good books instead of commenting on others’ books.
