Rajamouli denies directing Hindi 'Magadheera'

Some films continue to make headlines even two years after they hit the screens. “Magadheera” the biggest blockbuster in T-Town has been in the news for the last six months ever since the first reports of the film being remade in Bollywood surfaced. Apparently, Hrithik Roshan was the frontrunner for the lead role of the film, while even Aamir Khan was sent feelers for the same. However, contrary to reports, SS Rajamouli is not directing the Hindi version of the film.

Rama Rajamouli said, “He is not doing the Hindi remake of “Magadheera”.” When we told her that Ranbir Kapoor had been roped in to reprise Ram Charan Tej’s role, she remarked, “This is news to me...” and added, “He’s (Rajamouli) very busy for the next six months. When he works he is almost like a zombie and does not think about other things He’s doing a big-budget fantasy film with Prabhas after “Eega” is completed and is directing the action sequences of Nagarjuna’s “Rajanna”.”

‘EEGA’, ON SETS FROM TODAY

Latest update is that the forthcoming movie ‘Eega’ was supposed to go on sets on 21st February but due to some hindrances, the movie started with its shooting today at ‘Sarathi Studios’, Ameerpet. The movie is being directed by none other the most potential director ‘Rajamouli’. The lead roles of the film are played by Nani and Samantha. Nani is considered as the new star on the horizon and Samantha is readily attracting her fans by her besotting looks. The film is being produced by ‘Sai Korrapati’ under ‘Vaaraahi Chalaana Chitram’ banners. The flick is being made in both the languages; Telugu and Tamil. According to recent reports, the distribution rates of Tamil version have already been sold some Distributors, before the film went on sets. This is the power of director Rajamouli not only in Telugu industry but also in Tamil industry, where the distribution rates are being bought before the flick goes on sets.
