MUMBAI: Providing a golden opportunity for those seeking affordable housing in the city, the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (Mhada) has for the first time made provision to fill applications online for its 4,034 flats.
From Wednesday onwards, buyers can apply online for Mhada's fourth consecutive lottery to be conducted on May 31.
Instead of queuing up for hours to get a Mhadalottery form, citizens can register themselves for the draw through online forms for this year's lottery. The new system will not only save the people's time but will also reduce data entry work for the housing authority.
