Dhanush has given back to back hits in the form of Uthamputhiranand Aadakulam. Now, for his next venture, he has teamed up with Suraj for Mappillai. They have worked together in Padikathavan.Mappillai is a remake of Rajinikanth's yesteryear blockbuster film with the same name. Interesting point of the film is that the superstar's son-in-law himself is starring in the film and enacting the role played by Rajini in the original.
