Jammu and Kashmir issue would not have existed if Sardar Patel had become PM !!!!!!!

SATNA (MADHYA PRADESH): There would have been no Kashmir issue if Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel had become the Prime Minister on the country's independence, Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said.

Addressing a function on the eve of Patel's 136th birth anniversary here yesterday, Chouhan said the late leader had been given the responsibility of merging the princely state into India but Jammu and Kashmir was left out of this.

On the occasion, he also unveiled a statue of Patel, who is popularly known as 'Iron Man of India'.

Formula 1 in India !!!!

Weary after their long flights from different parts of the world, most of the 24 drivers are still getting used to F1's newest destination. But for at least one of them, a long-cherished dream is on the verge of coming true. 

"I didn't ever think that I would get a chance to race in India. That cherished dream of driving in front of my home crowd is finally going to come true. The track looks magnificent with plenty of overtaking opportunities and run-off areas to provide enough safety," Narain Karthikeyan said here on Thursday. 

This might be India's first foray into F1 but the nation itself is no stranger to the world's most technologically advanced sport, which seems to have taken most in the paddock by surprise. India, after all, was supposed to be only a cricket-crazy nation. 

Mercedes GP boss Ross Brawn told TOI: "India, for us, is a fascinating new country. People comment on what F1 coming to India will do for the economy, but if we don't come here how can we help in the development? F1 can, in a small way, help in the development of the nation. What amazes me really is the knowledge people have about F1. Talking to fans and the media one is astonished at the following F1 has in this country. India as a nation is rapidly progressing in the area of technology and that's why they are lapping up Formula One." 

Brawn's views were echoed by McLaren-Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton , who was making his fifth visit to the country in the last two years. "Coming to India, people would think that cricket is the No. 1 sport but that's not the case. F1 has a huge fan base as I witnessed in Bangalore a couple of weeks back where as many as 40,000 people turned up," Hamilton said. 

'Dirty' track welcomes drivers 

The facilities might be fantastic but the track itself is quite dirty and could be an area of concern for drivers going out first at 10 am for the practice session on Friday. "The track is quite good and the organisers have done a super job getting this place ready in such a short period of time. But like any new track there is some dirt and dust on the track. I hope they can clean it today and tomorrow morning and let's wait and see how the circuit turns out," Williams driver Rubens Barrichello said. 

The Brazilian veteran, with 323 race starts under his belt and 18 years experience, didn't waste time in engaging in some friendly banter with countrymate Felipe Massa of Ferrari . "I have got this F1 game at hope and already notched up over 100 laps on it at home," said Barrichello. 

Massa was quick to chip in: "He is racing seven hours a day at home." Barrichello retorted by saying that Massa himself was hooked on to the game for more than five hours every day, adding, "We meet each other on these games quite often and he (Massa ) was the one who introduced me to it. My wife is more p**** d off at him and not me!" 

On coming to India for the first time in a career stretching close to a decade, Barrichello said, "Obviously, I have never had the chance of coming to India. So it's great that through my job and sport I am getting the opportunity to explore a new country." 

For Michael Schumacher, though, it was a whole new challenge in his 20th year in F1. "I have just seen the safety car run through the paces here. There were some elevation changes, some blind spots and it will be quite a challenge for us with high and low speed corners," Schumacher felt.

ra.one movie review || sharuk ra..one movie review !!!!!!!!!!

Three characters stand out in this movie. Ra One (Arjun Rampal), G One (Shahrukh Khan) and young Armaan Verma who plays Prateek Subramaniam. Kareena Kapoor for once is thrown into the background, so is SRK (Shekhar Subramanium) who gets his Tamil accent off-centre. The supporting cast would be the action team and the sound engineers led by Resul Pookutty.

The first half is a visual delight. The plot moves slickly from one sequence to another gripping you in the wake of destruction that RA ONE brings along. WOW, is the first word you utter because it's flawless. Technologically, SRK has not left any stone unturned.

It's only after the interval that the plot meanders a bit, loses it sting and almost falls apart like a pixealised image, before Arjun lights up the screen.

As G One, in the initial scenes, SRK is spot on but fails to maintain his robotic gait. This here, I would say is the fault of the digital team. But the RA One (Tom Wu) who mesmerizes initially is almost 'Terminator' Shwarzenegger-like in his finesse. He brings an icy-cool, steel like momentum to his body language.

Rascals – Movie Review !!!!!!!!

At some point in this pointless parody of all of David Dhawan’s Tom and Jerry comedies from the past, Devgn and Dutt, playing a pair of warring, snaping, snarling, sneering con-persons, call for each other. ‘Chetan? Bhagat? Chetan? Bhagat? ….”

In that pause between the last blast and the next you know the script writer (Yunuz Sajawal) is thinking of how to carry the plot to the next gag.

Wish they had actually roped in author Chetan Bhagat to write some of the episodes. We would at least be looking at more than just an endless raunchy wordy ramble into the realm of toned bikini bodies. And these include the two leading ladies Kangna Ranaut and the striking Lisa Haydon.

In fact the film looks like one long excuse to let the camera ogle at semi-nude female figures in Thailand and Bangkok. The laughter, if it was ever intended, is strictly incidental.

Steve Jobs’s death shocked the world !!!!!!!!!

Oct. 5  -- Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Jobs’s death today at age 56 follows years of health struggles that began in 2003, when he was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer.

Jobs had a neuroendocrine tumor, which is less aggressive than some other types of pancreatic malignancies. He eventually resigned as chief executive officer on Aug. 24, saying he could “no longer meet my duties and expectations.”

Neuroendocrine tumors can grow slowly and be treated successfully with early removal.

Mahesh Babu’s much-awaited Telugu film “Dookudu” finally released today in theatres all over the world. It is a wholesome entertainer which will be liked by Families and Mahesh Babu fans.

Ajay ( Mahesh Babu), a sincere police officer on a mission to kill Nayak ( Sonu Sood) a underworld don and his accomplice one time his father Shankar Narayana ( Prakash Raj) a former MLA. Ajay other mission is to keep his ailing father happy by makeing things to his likings.Ajay and his team goes thro hilarious situations in the process to cover up the things before his father. How he succeeds in both the missions is the rest of the story.

Mahesh Babu role and his action is highlight to the film.  The role is a tailor made for him by director Srinu Vytla.  Mahesh Babu dialogues are good. His acting in emotional scenes are marvelous. The variation he showed in body language between Police officer and MLA  is commedable.

Brahmanandam, MS Narayana deserve apt for thier comedy acting. They are hilarious.

Samantha has nothing to do much except singing songs as Mahesh Babu love interest.

Parvathi Melton’s sizzling item number disappoints you. Sonu Sood did his best so are others..

Prince Mahesh Dookudu Censor Talk !!!!!!!!

Prince Mahesh’s latest film ‘Dookudu’, the much awaited and much expected film of the season is scheduled for release this weekend, i.e. the 23rd of September. The first copy of the film was sent for censor clearance yesterday (September 19), and according to the sources the film has come out good and is likely to score a big hit.

However, members of the board were not satisfied with the quality of the print as it was not clear and hence did not give the clearance. They asked for another (good) print, and may give the certification tomorrow.

As per the Censor talk, the film is a good comedy entertainer which goes in typical Sreenu Vytla’s style. It is said to have all types of elements like action, comedy and sentiment. Mahesh’s performance and Brahmanandam’s comedy are said to be highlights of the film.
