At some point in this pointless parody of all of David Dhawan’s Tom and Jerry comedies from the past, Devgn and Dutt, playing a pair of warring, snaping, snarling, sneering con-persons, call for each other. ‘Chetan? Bhagat? Chetan? Bhagat? ….”

In that pause between the last blast and the next you know the script writer (Yunuz Sajawal) is thinking of how to carry the plot to the next gag.

Wish they had actually roped in author Chetan Bhagat to write some of the episodes. We would at least be looking at more than just an endless raunchy wordy ramble into the realm of toned bikini bodies. And these include the two leading ladies Kangna Ranaut and the striking Lisa Haydon.

In fact the film looks like one long excuse to let the camera ogle at semi-nude female figures in Thailand and Bangkok. The laughter, if it was ever intended, is strictly incidental.

Steve Jobs’s death shocked the world !!!!!!!!!

Oct. 5  -- Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Jobs’s death today at age 56 follows years of health struggles that began in 2003, when he was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer.

Jobs had a neuroendocrine tumor, which is less aggressive than some other types of pancreatic malignancies. He eventually resigned as chief executive officer on Aug. 24, saying he could “no longer meet my duties and expectations.”

Neuroendocrine tumors can grow slowly and be treated successfully with early removal.

Mahesh Babu’s much-awaited Telugu film “Dookudu” finally released today in theatres all over the world. It is a wholesome entertainer which will be liked by Families and Mahesh Babu fans.

Ajay ( Mahesh Babu), a sincere police officer on a mission to kill Nayak ( Sonu Sood) a underworld don and his accomplice one time his father Shankar Narayana ( Prakash Raj) a former MLA. Ajay other mission is to keep his ailing father happy by makeing things to his likings.Ajay and his team goes thro hilarious situations in the process to cover up the things before his father. How he succeeds in both the missions is the rest of the story.

Mahesh Babu role and his action is highlight to the film.  The role is a tailor made for him by director Srinu Vytla.  Mahesh Babu dialogues are good. His acting in emotional scenes are marvelous. The variation he showed in body language between Police officer and MLA  is commedable.

Brahmanandam, MS Narayana deserve apt for thier comedy acting. They are hilarious.

Samantha has nothing to do much except singing songs as Mahesh Babu love interest.

Parvathi Melton’s sizzling item number disappoints you. Sonu Sood did his best so are others..

Prince Mahesh Dookudu Censor Talk !!!!!!!!

Prince Mahesh’s latest film ‘Dookudu’, the much awaited and much expected film of the season is scheduled for release this weekend, i.e. the 23rd of September. The first copy of the film was sent for censor clearance yesterday (September 19), and according to the sources the film has come out good and is likely to score a big hit.

However, members of the board were not satisfied with the quality of the print as it was not clear and hence did not give the clearance. They asked for another (good) print, and may give the certification tomorrow.

As per the Censor talk, the film is a good comedy entertainer which goes in typical Sreenu Vytla’s style. It is said to have all types of elements like action, comedy and sentiment. Mahesh’s performance and Brahmanandam’s comedy are said to be highlights of the film.

Prince Mahesh Dookudu Premier show review !!!!!!!!

Prince Mahesh’s latest daring and dashing ‘Dookudu’ directed by Sreenu Vytla will be hitting screens worldwide tomorrow (September 23). The film has caught much hype and expectations prior to its release, and the recent Censor report has only added to it. It is undoubtedly one of the highly awaited films of the season and the makers of the film have arranged for a grand release. In Hyderabad alone, the film will be released in over 70 screens.

Petite beauty Samantha Ruth Prabhu played Mahesh’s love interest in the film while ravishing beauty Parvati Melton will sizzle in an item number. Mahesh Babu had reportedly played a tough cop in it.

The film is said to have a right combination of all commercial elements including action, comedy, romance and entertainment. It has already received a positive talk as a good family entertainer.

South Florida’s record-setting drought delivered a setback to the fight against exotic plants spreading across the Everglades.

Melaleuca and other fast-growing transplants from other parts of the world are a threat to the Everglades because they overwhelm and crowd out native plants, which hurts wildlife habitat.

Much of the Everglades dried out during what turned out to be the driest October-to-June stretch on record in South Florida.

 

 

Particularly hard hit was the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, considered the northern remnants of the Everglades. The refuge, which stretches across western Palm Beach County, at one point was 95 percent dry.

Those dry conditions enabled exotic plants to spread, but cut off airboat access to the interior of the refuge. Without airboat access, contractors hired to kill exotics couldn’t do their work.

"We came to a standstill because we just couldn’t do anything out there because of the low water," said refuge manager Sylvia Pelizza of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. "We might have lost some ground."

The refuge extends across 144,000 acres, providing habitat for more than 257 species of birds. The refuge is also one of the three Everglades water conservation areas where levees help contain stormwater that supplements regional supplies.

Summer rains have helped raise water levels in the southern end of the refuge, but the northern portion remains cutoff to airboat access.

Aside from the drought, the refuge suffers from man-made manipulations of water levels.

Providing water and flood control for farms and towns built on what used to be the Everglades siphons away water that would otherwise go the refuge and other remaining sections of the River of Grass. Without that water, the damaging environmental effects of periodic droughts are multiplied.

Sad for the American tennis player, Venus Williams. The ailing star exited the U.S. Open 2011 before she was due on court at Arthur Ashe Stadium for her second-round match against No. 22 Sabine Lisicki.
Venus won her first-round match easily over Vesna Dolonts.
Venus also announced that she has been diagnosed with Sjogren’s Syndrome, an autoimmune disease that causes fatigue and joint pain.
Venus’ statement: I am really disappointed to have to withdraw from this year’s U.S. Open, I have recently been diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome.
