Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO Facebook has been named Time Magazine Person of the year 2010, a person who has done the most to influence the events within a year. Zuckerburg was appointed number one by times magazine editors and staff members beating Wikileaks founder Julian Assange ,the president ofAfghanistan Hamid Karzai and 33 rescues Chilean miners for the top post.
Zuckerberg is chosen by Time for connecting more than half a billion people through Facebook and mapping the social relations between them. He is also credited with introducing a system of exchanging information that has changed the way people live.
Facebook has grown to more than 500 million users, the company is said to be worth $ 33.7bn. At 26, Zuckerberg is one of America’s self made billionaire. Recently, Zuckerberg pledged a $100 million to charity
